Application procedure for exchange students
1. Nomination
The home university nominates the selected students to the Office of International Relations at the University of Ljubljana (intern.office@uni-lj.si). Students will receive the instructions on their e-mail address after the official nomination.
2. Application in the system
Once your home university has successfully nominated you as an exchange student, you are required to complete the online application. Application deadline: November 15, 2026.
There is no need to submit a physical (paper) copy of the application. At the end of the online application process, you will be prompted to upload the following documents:
- Transcript of records from your home university,
- Online learning agreement,
- Language certificate
- Copy of your personal document (ID or passport).
Note: Your application will only be processed once all required steps have been completed and the necessary documents have been uploaded.
3. Confirmation of the exchange
The exchange is formally and finally confirmed only once the student receives the official acceptance letter from the University of Ljubljana. This is issued after the student completes their application in our system and submits all the required documentation.
Students will receive notification of their acceptance by November 30, 2026, at the latest.
