The programe, organized by Senior Lecturer Tita Stanek Zidarič, Assist. Prof. Metka Skubic, PhD, and Teaching Assistant Lucija Trojer, connected international midwifery students, higher education teachers and experts from partner universities in an intensive learning experience dedicated to mental health, vulnerability and wellbeing in midwifery.
Through a combination of online collaboration, lectures, workshops and in-person activities, we created a space for connection, exchange of knowledge and development of new professional ideas. We are especially proud that the implementation of this first BIP programe represents an important step in the internationalisation of the Faculty of Health Sciences and in the development of modern and inclusive approaches to midwifery education.
At the conclusion of the programe, we also received wonderful news; the Erasmus+ BIP programe has been approved again, which means we will be able to run it next year as well. This is an important recognition for our department and faculty, and an additional motivation for further international cooperation and the development of high-quality educational content.
Thank you to all partner institutions, participating lecturers and students for your knowledge, energy, support and warmth. We are already looking forward to running the programe again next year.
