The International Relations Office of Faculty of Health Sciences recently explored new approaches and good practices in inclusive mobility through the Diversity and Inclusion in Erasmus+ conference in Brussels, Belgium.
The event highlighted the importance of creating international opportunities that are accessible and welcoming for all students, regardless of their background, personal circumstances, or support needs.
At the Faculty of Health Sciences, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to benefit from an international experience. Together with the University of Ljubljana, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for incoming students throughout their mobility period.
Students have access to a range of support services, including healthcare through the Health Centre for Students, as well as social and psychological support services available within the University of Ljubljana. Where needed, we are also ready to discuss reasonable adjustments that can help students successfully participate in their studies and student life.
To ensure that appropriate support can be arranged in a timely manner, we encourage students to inform us about any specific learning, health-related, accessibility, or other support needs as early as possible, ideally during the application process. This allows us to discuss individual circumstances with the relevant faculty services and explore available options together.
Creating an inclusive international experience is a shared effort. By working together and communicating openly about individual needs, we can help ensure that all students feel welcomed, supported, and able to make the most of their time at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Your mobility matters, and we are here to support you throughout your journey.
