Participation in the 4th Trilateral Midwifery Students’ Conference in Sarajevo
The 4th Trilateral Midwifery Students’ Conference entitled “PSYCHOPHYSICAL PREPARATION – ACE UP ONE’S SLEEVE” took place on 8 May 2026 at University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Health Studies. The event brought together midwifery students and mentors from Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and provided an opportunity for professional discussion on contemporary approaches in midwifery practice.
From Slovenia, the conference was attended by second-year midwifery students Julija Tomaževič and Elma Pehlić, accompanied by their mentors, Senior Lecturer Tita Stanek Zidarič and Assistant Professor Metka Skubic, PhD.
Participation in international conferences of this kind significantly contributes to the development of students’ professional and communication competencies, encourages their active involvement in the international professional environment, and strengthens cooperation and the exchange of good practices. At the same time, it represents an important contribution to the visibility and recognition of the Midwifery Study Programme at Faculty of Health Sciences.
