V četrtek, 25.11.2021, bo ob 13. uri potekal prvi mesečni seminar izbranih EUTOPIA SIF raziskovalcev.
Predavanje o svojem projektu The Radical Right and Anti-Gender Movements in Central Eastern Europe: implications of mobilization for European integration and Gender Equality in Georgia and Ukraine bo izvedla tudi raziskovalka dr.

Putting handles on enzymes? 😮 Development of covalent tags for labelling Bruton’s Tyrosine Kinase in living cells |
|
Project Description |
Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (BTK) is an emerging drug target implicated in leukemia, lymphoma and other malignancies. The aim of our project is to develop a method for placing a molecular "handle" on BTK, which would allow us to tag the enzyme while it remains functional within living cells. Our strategy can be theoretically applicable in many kinases, a large enzyme family involved in numerous cell functions, therefore the labelling of BTK can serve as an initial showcase. |
